The CWE Blouson is built to the waist-length bomber silhouette of the CWU-45P and constructed in collaboration with Epperson, whose webbing and daisy chain work defines the jacket as much as any seam. Two slanted chest pockets and two large patch pockets at the waist each carry daisy chain loops built for actual attachment and use. On the back, an X-shaped daisy chain harness runs shoulder to waist, crossing at the center and terminating at four anchor points. It is a construction detail that is fully functional and completely distinctive.
