Canadian Army Details
Borrows the functional pocket details from the Canadian Army Field Jacket from the 1960’s
Collar Stand
This additional pattern piece and its engineered shape make the collar rolled up and down in a much nicer way.
Military-Standard Melamine Buttons
A signature detail used across our collections every season. Guaranteed quality to last for decades.
Button Front Closure
Button Cuffs
Features two buttons for adjustable fit
Gusseted Pocket with Button Flap
Features two large pockets at torso and two small pockets at chest. These pockets are gusseted (three dimensional) for extra storage space. Reinforced with bartuck at the openings and lined with extra fabric for durability. A button flap is added for security. The pointed and rounded shape of the flap with single needle stitching elevates the aesthetic.
Interior Chest Patch Pocket
Elbow Patch
Self-fabric square shape added to the sleeve for extra durability
Flared Facing Shape Inside
Inside of the shirt facing has a distinct curve shape. It would be normal to finish this straight from top to bottom, but we do the curve shape on purpose as a homage to well-crafted vintage clothing.
Triple Needle Stitching
The most defining detail is the flat-felled “Caballo” triple-needle stitch that runs all over the areas of the coat.
Drawstring Hem
Provides and option to cinch for a closer fit.
