Handwoven African Indigo Cloth

Fabric Content: 100% Cotton

This cloth is made out of several narrow panels being sewn together.  They use this construction technique because the tribesmen are nomadic and can only carry small looms to make hand loomed fabric.  They don’t have a certain place or machinery to make the fabric.  It’s more convenient for them to hand-weave narrow panels in a certain length wherever they are, and when they sell them to the market, they sew the panels together to make a cloth.  It is beautiful.  No two pieces are exactly the same.  Enjoy this one-of-a-kind art.
